About Bobby Fleet
Bobby Fleet, played by actor Henry Slate, is the bandleader of "Bobby Fleet and His Band with a Beat".
Bobby and his band come through Mayberry from time to time. Andy seems to be a fan of his music. Bobby took on Jim Lindsey as his guitar player in the 1960 episode The Guitar Player, and visits again in 1961's The Guitar Player Returns.
Trivia
- Freddy Fleet, not Bobby, traveled through to Mayberry in the episode The Mayberry Band (1962).
